Thomas Partey Confident Ahead of Real Madrid Clash Despite Injury Doubts

Thomas Partey has expressed confidence in how Arsenal is approaching the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final clash against Real Madrid.

Despite holding a 3-0 lead from the first leg, Partey emphasized the importance of maintaining focus and continuing to play their usual game.

“I think we’ve been through this many times before while playing here, so it’s nothing new. We have to trust in our football and play our game,” he said.

“We all know what is expected of us. We need to go there with the mindset of winning. We want to win every game. I believe we will put on a great performance, trust in our football, and also try to identify our weaknesses and attack effectively.

” However, Partey’s participation in the upcoming match remains uncertain. He was substituted during Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Brentford due to a health concern.

Coach Mikel Arteta mentioned that they are awaiting medical tests to determine whether Partey will be fit to face Real Madrid.
